1. What LogMyStudy Provides

LogMyStudy provides tools for setting study goals (contracts), logging daily progress, tracking streaks, viewing insights, and participating in optional social features (such as study groups and accountability surfaces). Features may vary over time as we improve the platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old to use LogMyStudy. If you’re under 18, you should have permission from a parent/guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity on your account.

3. Acceptable Use

LogMyStudy is an accountability platform. You agree not to misuse it. This includes:

• Harassing, bullying, or targeting other users (including through group features).
• Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you’re not authorized to access.
• Uploading or posting unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
• Abusing rate limits, scraping, or disrupting platform performance.

4. Your Content

You own the content you submit (study notes, goal names, reflections, messages). You grant LogMyStudy a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the service (for example, showing your logs on your dashboard or within a group you joined).

5. Plans, Billing & Changes

• Some features may require a paid plan (if applicable). Pricing and plan details will be shown on the platform at the time of purchase.
• If you subscribe, fees are billed in advance (monthly or annual depending on your selection).
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel through your account settings. Changes typically apply at the next billing cycle unless stated otherwise.

6. Availability & Updates

We aim for reliable uptime, but the platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or outages. We may update or modify features to improve performance, security, and user experience.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

8. Disclaimers

LogMyStudy provides tools for organization and accountability. We don’t guarantee academic outcomes, exam results, or specific performance improvements. Your results depend on your effort, environment, and many factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LogMyStudy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. If we are found liable for any claim, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid us in the one month prior to the event giving rise to the claim (if any).

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users, or attempt to compromise the platform’s security or integrity.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion, and if unresolved, will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi.
